3. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

You may be eligible for a return, replacement, or refund under the following conditions:

Defective or Damaged Containers

If your container or accessory arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery. We may offer:

  • Full refund

  • Repair

  • Replacement

Photos or videos of the issue may be required before approval.

Incorrect Item Delivered

If you receive a container or product different from your confirmed order, we will correct the error at no additional cost to you.

Time Limit

All return or refund requests must be submitted within 14 days from the date of delivery unless a longer period is required under applicable law.


4. Change-of-Mind Returns

We understand that situations may change.

If you wish to return a container or accessory due to change of mind:

  • The request must be made within 7 days of delivery

  • The item must be unused, unmodified, and in original condition

  • The customer is responsible for return transportation costs

  • A restocking fee of up to 20% of the purchase price may apply

Custom-built or modified containers are non-refundable unless defective.


5. Conditions for Approved Returns

To qualify for a return:

  • The product must be in original condition

  • No structural modifications or alterations

  • All documentation and accessories must be included

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order number) is required

Wharf Containers reserves the right to inspect returned items before approving a refund.


6. Return & Inspection Process

  1. Contact us by phone or email with your order number and details of the issue.

  2. Provide supporting photos or documentation if requested.

  3. Our team will respond within 2 business days with next steps.

  4. If approved, we will arrange inspection or return logistics.


7. Refund Processing

Once the returned item has been received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • If the original payment method is unavailable, alternative arrangements may be made

Partial refunds may apply if returned items are not in original condition.


8. Shipping & Transportation Costs

  • If the return is due to our error (damage, defect, wrong item), we will cover return shipping or transport costs.

  • If the return is due to change of mind, the customer is responsible for all return transport costs.

Delivery and installation fees (if applicable) may be non-refundable once service has been performed.


9. Non-Returnable Items & Services

The following are not eligible for return or refund unless defective:

  • Custom-built or modified containers

  • Containers altered after delivery

  • Services already performed

  • Items damaged due to misuse, neglect, or improper installation


10. Legal Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable U.S. consumer protection laws. If a dispute arises, it will be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
